9 seater mini Bus
Our current school bus is an extremely valuable asset for us and is constantly on the go. Many of the activities that our students partake in would not be possible without our bus and drivers. As our school’s population increases, so too does the demand for the bus.
With this in mind, an initiative has put in place to fundraise for a 9-seater mini bus, which would open up many possibilities for our students. It would also help small groups go to events without the barrier of booking costly transport arrangements. We will be organising fundraising events in the near future towards this, as we look to the support of our generous community. |

Drama Workshops
Our senior classes have had the absolute pleasure of working with the great Lynda Gough for the past 3 months as part of our Creative Schools Blast Programme. Lynda is a super talented stage and screen actress who has brought her skills to facilitating a series of drama workshops for us. Everyone has had so much fun learning how to improvise, write scenes, produce and act. We have been amazed every week by the talent and creativity of our students. Thank you so much to Lynda for everything!

Work Experience
Work Experience is a wonderful learning opportunity for our senior students and we would like to say a huge thank you to the amazing businesses who mentored our students during the school year.
To Dee and all of the staff in The Lady Belle, thank you so much for your warm welcome, kindness and the time you gave to careful instruction and training. The experience was invaluable! Thank you to Louise, Pa, Jamie, Audrey, Edel and all of the gang at Hallahan's chemist. Becky had the best time working with you all and learned so much everyday. Becky is pictured with Edel, who not only took Becky under her wing but also proved to be a fantastic makeup model! A huge thank you to Louise, Aoife, Anthony and all the fantastic staff at O'Brien's Sandwich Cafe. Shayne loved every second working with you guys so much that he was even able to overlook Anthony being such a massive Spurs fan! Shayne is pictured with Louise who was an incredible mentor throughout his time at O'Brien's. Thank you so much to Catriona, Alison and all of the wonderful children at The Little School of Montessori. Mary Rose had the most fantastic time working with you all and you really made her feel part of The Little School family! Mary Rose is pictured with Catriona and Alison. |

Happy Retirement Ms. Lynch
Congratulations to our wonderful Home Economics teacher, Bernie Lynch who retired this year after 39 years of service at St. John's! As you hang up your apron Bernie, we would like to thank you for the warmth, kindness and patience that you always brought to our school. You didn't just teach recipes - you nurtured confidence, creativity and a love for cooking in everyone lucky enough to have worked with you. Wishing you a very happy and well deserved retirement!
