School Sensory Garden and Weather Station:
We, Mikey Phelan and Mark Cummins are helping St John's Special School in Dungarvan, Co Waterford to raise funds to create a Sensory Garden and Weather Station. This is in loving memory of Owen Phelan who went to heaven on 30th November 2024. This peaceful, interactive space will offer a sanctuary for exploration, relaxation, and learning — designed especially for children with additional needs.
The sensory garden will provide a rich environment of sights, sounds, textures, and scents, while the weather station will inspire curiosity and hands-on discovery about the world around us. Together, they will form a living tribute to Owen who brought joy, wonder, and warmth to the school community every day.
With your support, we can build something truly meaningful that nurtures minds, soothes hearts, and celebrates a beautiful life that touched so many. Every donation —big or small —brings us one step closer to turning this vision into reality.
Any additional funds raised will go towards a planned Hydrotherapy Pool for the students of St John's.
Donate today and help us grow a legacy of love, learning, and remembrance.

School 9-Seater Minibus:
Our current school bus is an extremely valuable asset for us and is constantly on the go. Many of the activities that our students partake in would not be possible without our bus and drivers. As our school’s population increases, so too does the demand for the bus. With this in mind, an initiative has put in place to fundraise for a 9-seater mini bus, which would open up many possibilities for our students. It would also help small groups go to events without the barrier of booking costly transport arrangements.
Hydrotherapy Pool:
A long-term goal in St. John's is to build a hydrotherapy pool for our students, which could provide many benefits to the physical and mental health and wellbeing of students in our school. As it stands, students have to travel by bus to Waterford to access a hydrotherapy pool. Fundraising has been ongoing for this pool, and we thank the community who have given generously.
