To kick start the month we celebrated a very important 7th birthday so it was time to party and celebrate with a big chocolate cake......yum yum!! We took a very exciting trip to Faithleg Hotel in Waterford to see Santa and enjoy a fantastic party. Photos have already been uploaded to the website. We took another trip to Waterford to see the Panto 'A Hippo for Christmas'. This was a brilliant production enjoyed by all. We were very busy in school practicing for our school Christmas concert. We performed a song called 'Merry Christmas'. Take a look at us all dressed up minutes before we took to the stage....... We enjoyed learning about the Nativity - we loved this touchy feely Nativity story book which we took turns feeling and looking at and we also enjoyed the online Nativity story song. The month of December always lends itself to plenty of seasonal themed art and craft and here we are making our paper plate Santa's..... We had a very exciting morning out in our school polytunnel as Ms. Wall informd us that a special visitor had been the night before, left his suit hanging up to dry as he got very very wet on his journey, a letter was left for us along with some special reindeer food and of course carrots had grown for us to pick especially for Rudolf!! The excitement was magic..... In amongst all this Christmas excitement we celebrated yet another very important 7th birthday and of course we had to celebrate with a big chocolate cake.....what else!!!! And just incase this wasn't enough to contend with, we got to play for the first time out in our brand new playground which we have waited for so anxiously....... Great fun and excitement was had by all!
